Do you want a cosmetic solution that can reduce age lines and give your face natural fullness and volume? Juvederm is an FDA-approved product that offers a reduction in wrinkles, leaving behind naturally flawless and beautiful skin.
In the world of injectable dermal fillers, Juvederm is one of the most effective solutions to wrinkles and facial hollowness. This gel can be injected into selected parts of the face to give the face more volume, better contouring, and a smoother surface.
Juvederm is made from hyaluronic acid, which is a chemical naturally found in the body. As we age, the body stops producing the required amount of hyaluronic acid, resulting in hollowness and wrinkles. Injections of Juvederm restore hyaluronic acid in the skin, filling in wrinkles and volumizing the skin.
When compared to other injectables, Juvederm offers a wide range of benefits, including:
• Smoother and shinier skin
• Better contouring for the lips, cheeks, and chin
• Reduction in depressions and acne scars
• Lifted lips and cheeks
Juvederm is an extremely natural and minimally invasive way to make cosmetic improvements to the skin. The areas of the face that can be treated using Juvederm include:
• Cheeks
• Jowls
• Lips
• Forehead
• Nasolabial regions
To arrange your treatment, you will first need a consultation with Dr. Edward Miranda. He will analyze your face to identify the areas that need treatment. He will work with you to understand your expectations and then help you set realistic and achievable results.
Next, Dr. Miranda will design a treatment plan for you. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is best to disclose your situation to Dr. Miranda so that he can create a treatment plan that is as safe and convenient as possible.
The Juvederm treatment takes around 15 minutes to administer and is usually performed as an outpatient procedure. You’ll need to visit the doctor’s clinic for the procedure. Since Juvederm contains lidocaine as one of its components, you will not be given another anesthetic, unless the doctor feels otherwise. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic used to numb the treatment area.
Using the course that he has mapped for you, Dr. Miranda will inject small quantities of the Juvederm into selected portions of your face and allow it to settle. He will lightly massage the face to ensure the gel is evenly distributed.
After your Juvederm treatment, you will immediately be able to return to your daily schedule. Your face may feel tender for a few days. You are expected not to move your facial muscles too much or undergo any tanning treatments for a week.
A small amount of swelling and bruising are normal and will disappear shortly. Ice packs may be used to reduce swelling.
The effects of Juvederm last between six months and a year. After this time, you’ll need to revisit the doctor for a follow-up session to preserve the results.
