Latisse Can Give You the Full Eyelashes You Deserve

Get complete, luscious eyebrows with the miraculous Latisse treatment! An FDA-approved procedure, Latisse is a treatment option that stimulates eyelash growth in individuals with small, thin, pale, and inadequate eyelashes. The medication is actually a version of the popular glaucoma medication bimatoprost, which is used in prescription eye drops. Eyelash growth was an unintended side effect of the treatment, and this led to many experts deciding that it could be used for eyelash growth. This led to the creation and widespread proliferation of Latisse.

Is Latisse for Me?

Although Latisse is one of safest eyelash-rejuvenation options, it is not for everyone. You might not be eligible if you have a high degree of risk for macular edema or if you have eye issues such as conjunctivitis and uveitis. If your upper eyelids are severely infected, you are unlikely to be a candidate. Pregnant women are not eligible, and nursing mothers should choose Latisse for treatment only upon the completion of breastfeeding.

How Do I Use Latisse?

Latisse needs to be applied on a nightly basis. Patients need to apply it to the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes. The solution must not be applied on the lower lid or inside the eye. The face should be completely clean and make-up free before application. Contact lenses need to be removed beforehand. The dosage should not be exceeded.

You should be using disposable sterile applicators that must be disposed of after one use. So you will need a minimum of two applicators for daily use, one for each eye. This should be done to prevent any possible contamination. Reusing applicators even after one use could lead to infections and allergic reactions. Be very careful with Latisse, as it can promote hair growth on other areas of the skin if it falls on other areas.

If you wear contacts, you can reinsert them into your eyes about 15 to 20 after administration. If Latisse gets into your eyes, it is unlikely to cause any harm, as it is an ophthalmic product. Do not rinse your eyes in this situation. If any disturbances persist, you should visit your doctor. Before moving forward with Latisse, you should consult your doctor, especially if you have a history of eye pressure problems, to ensure that you are a good candidate.

How Does Latisse Affect Eyelash Growth?

Research has shown us that we do not yet understand the full functions and mechanisms of Latisse. The treatment will thicken, lengthen, and darken your eyelashes, and it will increase the volume of hairs on each eyelid. Results are typically visible within four to eight weeks, and individuals can expect incredible results after twelve weeks of continuous application.

Anything Else I Should Know?

Multiple applications of Latisse on a daily basis will not increase the growth of eyelashes, so don’t waste the solution. If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will return to normal in a couple of months. Consult your doctor on how you should proceed in this situation.
